there are people outside yelling and playing in the snow... because...WE HAVE A SNOW DAY TOMORROW! WOW!

we are all very excited. craigs hall is currently rejoicing by playing nerf guns.
im trying to finish a paper i have due for an english class so that i wont have it hanging over my head tomorrow on our wonderful beautiful snow day!
OMG HOW GREAT?! thats FOUR classes for me! i wonder what this will do to our schedules...?
who cares! i think people are playing rock band downstairs... its really loud.
ALSO... me and craig started an online shop to sell my art/ cards. it will probably be further developed tomorrow when we finally have some time!

AHHHHH

Dearest QA Residents,

The two doors at the bottom of the left and right staircases that lead outside/ have card readers ARE OUT OF ORDER. If you open them, they will not close behind you unless you force them shut, which then leaves our whole building open. I put "Out of Order" signs up on the interior and exterior of the doors last night, but these signs were disregarded. Because of this, we had an intruder in the building early this morning, who got in because someone left these doors open. I cannot stress enough how much of a safety issue this (a note from allie: not to mention it is making the building a heck of a lot colder than it already was).

In the future, make sure you obey all signs posted by me or my staff. If someone (who lives here or not) is found disregarding any signage, that person will be immediately documented. Again, this is a HUGE safety issue. I don't know about you, but I am not comfortable with random people (who are not necessarily students) walking around our building in the middle of the night. I'm not assumming that any of you left the doors open, but please relay this message to your visitors to help ensure our safety.

DADs Birthday!

Arthur is 90 years old. He’s played golf every day since his retirement 25 years ago. One day he arrives home looking downcast. “That’s it,” he tells his wife. “I’m giving up golf. My eyesight has gotten so bad that once I’ve hit the ball, I can’t see where it went.” His wife sympathizes and makes him a cup of tea. As they sit down, she says, “Why don’t you take my brother with you and give it one more try.” “That’s no good,” sighs Arthur. “Your brother’s a hundred and three. He can’t help.” “He may be a hundred and three,” says the wife, “but his eyesight is perfect.” So the next day, Arthur heads off to the golf course with his brother-in-law. He tees up, takes an almighty swing, and squints down the fairway. He turns to the brother-in-law. “Did you see the ball?” “Of course I did!” replies the brother-in-law. “I have perfect eyesight.” “Where did it go?” asks Arthur. “I don’t remember.”

NOTE: dad is not 90 years old.
NOTE: dad does not play golf.
NOTE: dad does have a selective memory.
