EASTER!!!

Easter with the wixons!!

Well in the spirit of easter.. craig and i drove home to Glenn Dale, MD. On saturday we decided to adopt some baby rats from a small animal rescue. They are very adorable and we already love them very much. Craig's mom pretended to be upset for like two minutes but then their explosive cuteness won her over. Craig named his Clio, and i named mine Moose! They are both sisters and they will live at school with us! They are very smart and can already ride shoulders very well. Craig is going to teach them to jump through hoops and dance and walk on their hind legs. Mostly craig likes feeding his rat food. I expect that craigs rat will get very fat very quickly.

then we came home from the humane society and painted blown easter eggs. Mine were fabulous! craig painted half of one and then decided to go feed his rat some various food.

We went out to chinese food for dinner at Grace's Fortune. I got pad thai veggies. It was pretty fabulous. The place was pretty nice and had live music but Craigs dad doesnt like chinese food so i felt bad that we kind of over rided the "where should we eat dinner" vote.

Anyways then we went home and went to sleep except the rats were in my room so craig kept coming in to check on them.

Then this morning, easter, we slept in, and came down stairs and craigs mom had put together a very beautiful easter basket for us. I am going to be fat between the chocolate i got from my mom and the chocolate i got from craigs mom.

anyways, then we had brunch which was crepes that craigs mom made and they were pretty delicious and easter-y. This afternoon we are going to a family party with one of craigs aunts. Im kind of nervous because craig says they are a bit judgmental. I will try to be cute and friendly.

Also shout out to mom: Craig and I really loved our little recycled easter baskets, they were pretty adorable. Also i already ate all the rice crackers you sent, they are pretty fabulous snack food.

ALSO...Im so excited to get back to school because FINALLY... the waterfront has OPENED!!!
