one thing i love about this college is that im constantly meeting people who are from Cameroon, or Japan, or the Virgin Islands, or Venezuela. its really awesome. anyways, i had a really nice breakfast. Eframe from Ethiopia was really cool. his dad still lives there, with his grandma, who is a nun. i said i would like to go to visit Ethiopia some time, and Eframe said "not now, you wouldnt. you should have gone back when the kings were ruling... now... now idk...its not so nice there" this made me kind of nostalgic and sad, despite the fact that i know absolutely nothing about Ethiopia.
i also talked to Sam, who is this guy who is from Maryland, but has recently been spending his summers in Scotland with friends. i asked him how he affords it, and he said he just works at a coffee shop while he's there. this was very inspirational. sam also said he was thinking about dropping out of college and starting his own coffee shop in a city somewhere in the U.S. I told him if its what he wants then he should go for it. i mean, hes a junior, so it would only be another year, but if he knows what he wants to do, and he can do it without a college edu. i mean... who knows. I think he'll probably finish up though.
We all decided we want to go pumpkin picking some time in the near future.
im currently making a thousand million copies. its for a project for my illustration class.
oh and i have a test on monday on greek and roman architecture. its probably going to be hard, because it all looks pretty similar. architecture is kind of awesome though, so props to matt.
i have to go do work.
i think im going to be Lara Croft, Tomb Raider for halloween.
